Keep new approved H1 and all related documents with you for POE, also EVL.
I enered POE twice in similar situation as yours without new stamping.
Both times POE (Atlanta) experience was good for me.
I just entered even after new USCIS memo.

There is no change really for Advance Parole applicants.
The form 131 is used for more than just AP applicants, its used for refugees and re-entry permits too.
Read this from page 2 of that memo.
Q. Do the revised Form I-131 instructions require advance parole applicants to complete biometrics?
A. Applicants for advance parole are not required to submit biometrics at this time. An applicant for advance parole must continue to submit two identical color photographs of the applicant taken within 30 days of the filing of the Form I-131 application.

She will have to go out of country and get stamping for H4 if her spouse is maintaining H1.

I need help for my friend. My Friend's spouse on H4 started to work on EAD. She does not work (or if she gets laid off), will she automatically get her H4 status? If not, what does she need to do to get back on H4. Her husband is on H1.

I am on 6th year and need to extend my h1b. My lawyer informs me that 45day letter from Backlog center is enough for 7th year extension.
I thought we need to get the screen-shot of pending labor as a proof for 7th year extension.
Does anyone got extension based on 45day letter for the 7th year or beyond....???

I am planning to go for visa stamping soon. This will be by 7th year extension. I have the following questions. Thanks for reading my post and for replies.
1) Recently my title changed from "member of technical staff" to "senior member of technical staff" and I got a pay increase. But the job duties is the same. I don't think this needs H1 amendment. Does it ? I also hope that this will not affect the green card processing.
2) This may be a dumb question. I have the approved I-797 but the online status still shows as pending. Since I know at least one USCIS database is not updated, is there a reason to suspect PIMS delay when I go for stamping ? I am planing to go for stamping in Chennai, I assume there is no way to check beforehand. Did anyone else experience the same (online status not updated) and face any delays due to PIMS.

When an h1b transfer via regualr processing (california center) is pending...and say the person gets fired /layed off etc....
Can another h1b transfer be done with just the recepit notice and previous I-797?
What's the risk? Some companies are not willing to do premium processing even if the candidate is ready to pay the premium process fee.

Doesn't matter if you only live in AZ or not! If you live in the Border Areas (North and South), or are traveling in those areas, it is better you carry it.
I never carry mine and do not intend to unless fit I the above case. I am working on Windows 7 based application development in Silverlight. I have not been able to find a way to play a an audio file in windows 7 phone. I have been googling it since past few days but i could not get any solution of that. There is a class in C# with name SoundPlayer but i guess its not available in Windows 7 Phone.
